🌊 Jazz is back at Fort Adams. The 2022 Newport Folk Festival kicked off on Friday, July 29 with a diverse lineup that included some new names along with some familiar artists.

🌊 On Saturday, August 13, Lobby Muddy Fest will host its 3rd annual charity event.  The fundraiser, which originally started as a Sunday ritual at O’Brien’s Pub where a handful of friends would meet up to enjoy lobster rolls and mudslides and catch up on the night before, has become one of the fastest-growing charity outings in the city by the sea.

🌊 If you’re on the market for a new home, Tyler also has a look at what homes you can check out this weekend – Open Houses happening this weekend in Newport County

🌊 If you’re looking for a show to catch tonight, check out the Dedicated Men of Zion at the former Newport Congregational Church.

Sharing bonds of music and blood kinship, the members of the Dedicated Men of Zion bring down a joyfully harmonious version of the gospel in a style so akin to soul music that we refer to it as “sacred soul.”

🌊 The winning numbers for the $1.28 billion Mega Millions jackpot were 13 36 45 57 67 14.

🌊 Thanks to The Rhode Show for having me on yesterday morning. If you missed it, you can watch it here – Checking out Newport’s Summer events
