🎆 Naval Station Newport will host its annual Salute to Summer concert and fireworks event this evening. Event activities and music will begin at 2 pm for military community members and their families. Authorized Department of Defense ID card holders can also access the event at this time. Public attendance and access to the installation will begin at 4 pm that day. The fireworks display is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:15 pm.

The free-admission public event will showcase several performances from local area bands, such as the Toe Jam Puppet Band and the Navy Band Northeast. In addition to the music, children’s activities will be available, and food vendors will be on-site to purchase snacks, meals, and beverages. More Details
