🚨 You need to know
Newport is reaching out to its residents for input on redesigning Easton’s Beach. The city has planned several workshops throughout June to gather community feedback and ideas.
“Help shape the future of Easton’s Beach!” Newport officials announced on social media, urging locals to get involved.
The series started with a “Beach Walk-Shop” at Easton’s Beach on Monday, followed by a brainstorming session at Innovate Newport.
On Tuesday (June 17), you can check out the first Design Open House from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Newport Elks Lodge. They’ll show off some initial design concepts and want to hear what you think.
There’s a second Design Open House on Wednesday (June 18) from 3 to 5 p.m. at Salve Regina University’s DiStefano Hall. This time, they’ll present updated designs based on feedback from the first session.
The final workshop is set for June 30 (Monday) from 6 to 8 p.m. and will be held online via Zoom. It will showcase the final design concept, which incorporates input from the public and city leaders.
