Local lawmakers are hosting a casual Meet-Up for residents on May 17 at the Portsmouth Free Public Library.

The event runs from 12:30 to 2 p.m., giving people a chance to chat with their elected officials, share ideas, or bring up any concerns they might have.

Representatives Terri Cortvriend (District 72 – Portsmouth, Middletown) and Michelle McGaw (District 71 – Portsmouth, Tiverton and Little Compton), along with Senator Linda Ujifusa (District 11 – Bristol, Portsmouth) will be there to meet with constituents.

You’ll find the Meet-Up in the library’s conference room at 2658 E Main Rd, Portsmouth. Feel free to stop by anytime during the hour and a half session – whether you want to discuss something specific or just say hello to your representatives.
