Tiverton High School’s baseball team came up short in a 5-2 loss to North Smithfield at their home field on Thursday (April 24).

The Tigers struggled to get on the scoreboard until the sixth inning, when they finally manage to put two runs up, cutting into North Smithfield’s lead.

Tyler Garside stepped up for Tiverton’s offense, driving in both of the team’s runs.

Despite a late-game push, North Smithfield held on to clinch the win, maintaining their advantage throughout the game.

The April 24 matchup between the two schools saw North Smithfield’s early lead prove too much for Tiverton to overcome.

Photographer Justin Walker was on hand to capture the action, providing a visual record of the game’s key moments.
