Tiverton High School’s Class of 2025 is marking a major milestone. On Friday evening, 129 seniors gathered at the school for their graduation ceremony.

The event featured musical performances and speeches from top students and school leaders. Principal Susan Craven kicked things off by welcoming everyone and introducing the speakers.

Cooper Thomas, the class salutatorian, presented the commencement address given by Mr. Dillion Sheridan. Valedictorian Nolan Page and Class President Ellery Pacheco also shared their thoughts with their fellow graduates.

Music played a big part in the ceremony. The Tiverton High School Band, led by Ms. Sarah Cundy, performed the classic “Pomp and Circumstance” for the processional and “The Star Spangled Banner.” Mr. Luke Bayne conducted the band in a rendition of “Pure Imagination” during the event.

Principal Craven handed out diplomas to the graduates, with help from Assistant Principal Derek Swenson and class advisors Jena Rossignol and Lessly Rosales.

This year’s graduating class has a lot to be proud of. It includes National Honor Society members and Rhode Island Honor Society members. On top of that, dozens of students completed Career and Technical Education programs.

The ceremony wrapped up with the graduates marching out to the upbeat tune of “Eye of the Tiger.”
