NIMFEST returns to King Park

The Annual NIMFest Concert Series, which takes place at the Gazebo on Wellington Avenue in King Park, will begin on Sunday, July 7.

NIMFest announced the new schedule as well as its new leadership in a Facebook Post on June 3;

“Hello music lovers! My name is Rand Bradbury Jr., I’m the president of NEMO (the New England Music Organization) and Director of North End Entertainment. You might remember me as the sound engineer from the past 2 years at NIMFest. I want to thank Kevin and Gianna Sullivan (and everyone else who helped create and maintain the NIMFest concert series) for entrusting us with such a wonderful free live music event. We hope you are as excited as we are for the future of the NIMFest concert series. Big thanks to the City of Newport and the Hamilton Family Foundation for their continuing support of live music here in Newport. I’m proud to announce the schedule for the NIMFest 2024:

The series is presented by the City Of Newport with a gift from Mrs. Dorrance H. Hamilton. All concerts are scheduled on Sundays from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., with no rain dates.

Bring a chair or enjoy the lawn seating at the park, shows are free and open to the public of all ages!
