Guitar legend Leo Kottke’s highly anticipated performance at the Jane Pickens Theater has been postponed from its original Wednesday night slot due to illness.
The concert, scheduled for October 15 at 7:30 PM, has been rescheduled after Kottke was diagnosed with pneumonia, according to producer Spectacle Live. A new performance date in early 2026 is currently being finalized.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Leo Kottke performance at The JPT Film & Event Center scheduled for Wednesday, October 15, has been postponed,” Spectacle Live announced. “We are currently in the process of rescheduling this event and you will be notified as soon as the new show date is available.”
Ticket holders will automatically receive updated tickets four days prior to the rescheduled performance date and do not need to take any additional action. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date.
For questions or concerns, ticket holders can contact the Spectacle Live Box Office at 800-657-8774 or boxoffice@spectaclelive.com.
Kottke, now in his sixth decade of performing, has built a devoted international following with his distinctive fingerpicking style that seamlessly blends jazz, blues, and folk music into intricate, syncopated melodies. The acoustic guitar virtuoso has overcome significant health challenges throughout his storied career, including partial hearing loss and a near career-ending bout with tendon damage in his right hand.
Despite these obstacles, the guitarist has released more than a dozen critically acclaimed albums, earned two Grammy nominations, and secured his place among America’s most respected guitar masters and beloved singer-songwriters.
