Andrea Maria Crump, 82, of Miami, FL and Newport, RI passed away on August 13, 2026, in Newport.
Andrea was born in Providence, RI on September 22, 1943. She attended Convent of the Sacred Heart in Providence and went on to get her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Miami in education. She spent many years as a successful realtor in East Greenwich, RI before moving to Miami Beach, FL. She was an avid golfer, tennis, bridge, and croquet player. She enjoyed splitting her time between Newport and Miami with her husband Harry. She was a member of Indian Creek Country Club of Surfside, FL, and The Dunes Club of Narragansett, RI.
She is survived by her daughter Heather Bell and her husband James Star, her sister Aurelia Papitto and her husband William Young, and her two grandchildren, Chloe and Harrison Bell.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Harry Crump and her parents Norma and Ralph Papitto.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 18th at St. Mary’s Church, corner of Spring St & Memorial Blvd, Newport at 10 AM. Burial will be private.
