Newport is rolling out the red carpet this weekend with its 20th Annual Wine & Food Festival at Rosecliff, running both Saturday and Sunday. The marquee event anchors a packed weekend that also features the New England Cars & Coffee gathering at the Newport Car Museum and multiple live music series across the area’s vineyards and venues.

Saturday offers something for every interest, from the early morning Aquidneck Growers Market at the Newport County YMCA to evening entertainment like dueling pianos at Top of Pelham. Car enthusiasts can check out the 4th Annual RYCO Charity Car Show & Burnout Show, while families have options ranging from LEGO Club to children’s programs at various locations. The Newport International Polo Series rounds out the afternoon at 4 p.m.

Sunday maintains the momentum with a Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Fort Adams State Park starting at 8 a.m., followed by Newport Vineyards’ Cider Fest celebration. The weekend wraps up with live music performances scattered across downtown venues, from jazz at Johnny’s Restaurant to Irish sessions at Fastnet Irish Pub. Two cruise ships—Aurora and Enchanted Princess—are also scheduled to dock Sunday, bringing additional visitors to the seaside city.
