Portsmouth High School Girls Basketball is moving on to the quarterfinals after beating Cranston West 60-46 at home on Wednesday, Feb. 19.

Stella Orr topped the scoring for Portsmouth with 18 points, while Molly Hurd and Annie Hurd each chipped in 16 points to help secure the win.

The victory brings Portsmouth’s season record to 13-5.

Next up, Portsmouth faces Ponaganset High School (19-3) in the quarterfinals. The game is set for Friday, Feb. 21, at 5:30 p.m. at Ponaganset High School in Glocester.
