Middletown High School’s varsity football team dominated Coventry High School 32-6 in a Division II game on Nov. 1. The win, which coincided with Middletown’s senior night, brings their season record to 4-4, while Coventry drops to 2-6.
This marks Middletown’s second straight win. This season, it has won against Coventry High School, Tolman High School, Cranston High School East, and Mount Pleasant High School.
With the regular season wrapped up, Middletown is gearing up for their next challenge: a tournament game against Portsmouth High School on Nov. 28. They’ll be hitting the road for this one, as the game is set to take place at Portsmouth.
