Newport Historical Society’s Holiday Open House, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Newport Colony House at the top of Washington Sq.  Tour the Newport Colony House before the Christmas in Newport Official Opening Ceremony and enjoy the sounds of 18th century caroling performed by costumed interpreters from the Second Massachusetts Regiment.
