A Venetian Holiday: Castle Hill will host co-executive chef and owner of Boston’s SRV for its inaugural Guest Chef Dinner

Castle Hill Inn is excited to welcome guests to its inaugural Guest Chef Dinner on December 7, 2019 for “A Venetian Holiday” dinner featuring Chef Kevin O’Donnell, executive chef and co-owner of Boston’s SRV (Serene Republic of Venice).

The event is scheduled from 5:45 pm to 9 pm on Saturday, December 7th in The Dining Room at Castle Hill Inn.

Named “Best Italian Restaurant” by Boston Magazine in 2019, 2017 and 2016, SRV was also a James Beard semifinalist for Best New Restaurant in 2017.

No stranger to Rhode Island, Chef O’Donnell grew up in North Kingston and trained at Johnson & Wales in Providence. He previously worked in Castle Hill Inn’s kitchen alongside current Executive Chef Louis Rossi in 2010, prior to opening restaurants in Paris and Boston.

This December, Castle Hill Inn is pleased to welcome Chef O’Donnell back to the kitchen for a memorable event highlighting the tastes of Venice. Served in Castle Hill Inn’s stunning dining room, elegantly outfitted for the holiday season, the five-course tasting menu will feature a modern interpretation of Venetian cuisine, paired perfectly with wines from Famiglia Pasqua of the same region. 

Special menu items being offered will include a Beef Cheek Agnolotti dish featuring SRV’s signature pasta made from house-milled flour, and Sole in Boretto, perfect for a special holiday meal surrounded by Castle Hill Inn’s beautiful holiday décor and cozy fireplaces throughout.
