Pennsylvania-based Meeka Fine Jewelry recently expanded to Newport!

“With our ties to the area, we’ve found ourselves drawn back more and more over the years. We’re delighted to invest in a property with all of the character and charm of Newport for Meeka’s second home,” says owner and operator Monika Krol.

Monika Krol opened Meeka Fine Jewelry in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, in November 2014. A graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, Monika worked under some of the most renowned independent jewelers in the country, including Lola Brooks and Gabriella Kiss, before launching the Camp Hill store.

In her studio onsite at 33 Franklin Street, the second storefront property for the brand, Monika designs and makes her own line of jewelry. Monika’s handmade rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets blend 18 karat gold with exquisite stones and materials, which she compliments with touches of vintage-inspired details.

Monika’s own line, along with carefully curated collections by exceptionally talented artisans from across the country, will be carried at both Meeka Fine Jewelry locations. The Meeka flagship storefront in Camp Hill will continue to serve as the hub and primary home of Meeka Fine Jewelry.

“The artisans featured at Meeka Fine Jewelry are among the top designers / makers in the country,” says Monika. “It has been a privilege to introduce Central Pennsylvania to this collection of stunning, handmade jewelry that might otherwise only be found in larger metropolitan cities. I’m thrilled for the opportunity to do the same in Newport, Rhode Island.”
