The 25-foot (somewhat) iconic shark that sat atop Mardi Gras Multi-Club in Cranston for many years has found a new home, and it’s on Aquidneck Island.

Flo’s Clam Shack announced on its Facebook Page this week that they are “Going to need a bigger shack!” and plan on bringing the shark to “Middletown first”. Flo’s operates two locations on Aquidneck Island – 4 Wave Avenue in Middletown and 324 Park Avenue in Portsmouth.

Mardi Gras Multi-Club, a Caribbean dance club, rock venue, country-music dancehall, and lounge, closed last November after 28 years in business.

The shark was orignally listed on Facebook last month for $1,000.
