Smoke House Newport Storm

Smoke House has announced the second of its annual Newport Storm Beer Dinners, the culinary event will take place on Wednesday, August 9th.

The “Americana” menu includes an array of passed appetizers, including Jerk Wings with beer BBQ sauce; Fried Green Tomato Sliders with smoked tomato aioli, arugula and slider bun; Smoked Onion Bombs with smoked onions stuffed with meatloaf and wrapped in bacon paired with Newport Storm Pale Ale. This American IPA pours a medium copper color and features an accent of sweet malt followed by citrus and pine.

For the first course, guests will enjoy Seared Scallops with smoked tomato gazpacho paired with Newport Storm Locale Saison, a pale ale with caramelized malts, honey, wheat, Belgian yeast and a touch of hops; the second course offers Tea Smoked Duck Leg with cauliflower risotto and pickled watermelon radish accompanied by Newport Storm Castle Hill Windward Weiss, a German Weiss with a clean, citrusy flavor with hints of banana and faint grain; the third course will feature Smokeapple, a smoked pork tenderloin stuffed pineapple wrapped in bacon and served with local succotash, also paired with Newport Storm Summer India Point Pale Ale, a summer ale for hop lovers with a unique and pleasant citrusy flavor.

Dessert will feature Grilled Peach Tart with whole-milk ice cream and a brandy reduction, paired with Newport Storm Rhode Sodah, a golden ale bursting with juicy hop flavor and a touch of bitterness.

The cost is $49 per person, tax and gratuity additional.
