NEWPORT, R.I. — Standup comedian and New York Times bestselling author Hannah Berner and former world No. 4 James Blake will join the lineup for the first-ever Hall of Fame Celebrity Pro Classic presented by Fidelity Investments, the International Tennis Hall of Fame announced Tuesday.

The inaugural event will take place on the hall’s iconic grass courts Friday, Aug. 22, as part of the reimagined Induction Celebration honoring Maria Sharapova and Bob and Mike Bryan’s induction into the Hall of Fame.

Berner and Blake complete a star-studded lineup that includes Emmy Award-winning actress Uzo Aduba, Angela Kinsey of “The Office” and the award-winning “Office Ladies” podcast, and Hall of Famers Andy Roddick, Kim Clijsters and Arantxa Sánchez Vicario. The 2025 inductees Bob and Mike Bryan will also participate.

The event will feature a reunion of the United States’ 2007 Davis Cup title squad, with Roddick, the Bryan brothers and Blake taking the court together.

Players will be mic’d up during matches, allowing fans to hear real-time commentary from celebrities and Hall of Famers mid-play. The event will also feature the new Fame Fest fan village with tennis-themed activities and a food truck village, plus access to the newly renovated museum.

Berner is known for her relatable humor and charismatic crowd work. She hosts two podcasts, “Giggly Squad” and “Berner Phone,” and created the video series “Han on the Street.” Her debut comedy special “We Ride at Dawn” premiered at No. 2 on Netflix.

Time Magazine named Berner to its TIME100 Creators list for 2025. She was also included in Variety’s 2024 “The New Power of New York” list, The Hollywood Reporter’s 2024 “The Creator A-List” and Variety’s 2023 “Top 10 Comics to Watch.”

Blake reached a career-high ranking of No. 4 in the world and won 10 ATP singles titles during his professional career. He was a key member of multiple U.S. Davis Cup teams.

Tickets for the Hall of Fame Celebrity Pro Classic start at $45 and are available at Tennisfame.com/induction-single-event-tickets. The weekend will conclude with a concert from Fitz and the Tantrums.
