Newport Polo closes its 150th anniversary season Saturday, Oct. 3, with the Turkish Airlines Finals at BD Field at Glen Farm, 250 Linden Lane, after last weekend’s nor’easter postponed the scheduled finale.

The rescheduling pulls several events onto one afternoon. Grounds open at noon, the TD Pavilion at 2 p.m., a 150th anniversary pony parade at 3, the six-chukker match at 4, and the trophy presentation around 6.

More than 50 polo ponies and riders are expected in the parade, honoring the horses across the club’s history since 1876.

The 10th annual All Charity Day, also postponed from last weekend, brings in more than 30 nonprofits that sell their own tickets as a fundraiser. The program has raised more than $300,000 in past years.

Newport Polo is offering a free lawn admission with each one purchased, using code CHEERS150 online.

The season-long Turkish Airlines grand prize drawing concludes during the trophy presentation, with weekly door prize winners eligible for round-trip business class airfare for two anywhere in the airline’s network.

The final Stella Artois Best in Show theme is Coastal Cowboy, paired with a first-time barbecue cook-off for tailgaters.

Tickets and details are at nptpolo.com.
