The Hall of Fame Open is bringing an impressive lineup of tennis talent to the grass courts of the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, from July 6-13. This year’s tournament is special, marking the return of women’s professional tennis to Newport for the first time in over three decades.

The event features both ATP Challenger and WTA 125 competitions, with each draw offering $200,000 in prize money – a clear commitment to gender pay equity.

American players are well-represented in the field, including Alycia Parks, Hailey Baptiste, Jenson Brooksby, and Christopher Eubanks. These athletes join a mix of Grand Slam contenders and rising stars from around the world.

Tournament Director Brewer Rowe is excited about the caliber of players, noting the field includes Grand Slam contenders, recent title winners, and up-and-coming stars.

“This year’s Hall of Fame Open boasts an exceptional player field, featuring Grand Slam contenders, title winners so far this year, and stars on the rise,” said Rowe. “Fans can watch double the tennis on our grass courts while still enjoying all of the unique amenities that make the Hall of Fame Open one of the most intimate environments on tour.”

The women’s competition is particularly strong, with seven players currently ranked in the top 100, including four Americans. Parks, who made it to the third round of this year’s Australian Open, and Baptiste, coming off a strong showing at Roland-Garros, are among the standout entries.

Germany’s Tatjana Maria, currently ranked 43rd in the world and fresh from a WTA 500 title win at London’s Queens Club, brings her grass court expertise to the tournament.

On the men’s side, 2023 Houston champion Brooksby is making his return to Newport after reaching the final in 2021. He’s joined by Eubanks, who made it to the Wimbledon quarterfinals last year, and five-time ATP Tour champion Adrian Mannarino.

Fans can buy tickets online or through the tournament box office. All ticket holders get unlimited access to the newly renovated museum, fan village activities, and Horseshoe Court, where they can watch live broadcasts of Wimbledon matches.

The Hall of Fame Open holds a unique position as the only grass court tournament outside of Europe for both the men’s and women’s tours.
