Mark Foods, a New York-based seafood importer and processor generating more than $1 billion in annual revenue, has acquired Endeavor Seafood, a Newport frozen seafood importer based at 110 William St.

The acquisition completes a relationship that began in 2021 when Mark Foods made an equity investment in Endeavor. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Endeavor Seafood was founded in 2001 by Mike Bush, Todd Clark, and George Souza, three veterans of the seafood supply chain who had previously held senior sourcing positions at major food companies. Bush and Clark will continue with Mark Foods following the acquisition. Souza, whose planned retirement coincides with the deal, will remain in an advisory capacity.

“Since our initial investment in 2021, we have seen firsthand the talent, dedication, and quality this team brings,” said Barry Markman, CEO of Mark Foods. “Fully integrating the business was a natural next step.”

The acquisition follows a series of strategic moves by Mark Foods in recent years, including the purchases of Bristol Seafood in 2025, Arista Industries’ Seafood Division in 2023, and Openwater Seafoods in 2021. The company processes more than 20 million pounds of seafood annually at facilities in Orlando and Portland, Maine, serving retail, foodservice, and wholesale customers nationwide.
