Nothing salutes the start of a Rhode Island summer like Quint the shark hunter, Broadway Street Fair, and a refreshing drink in hand, courtesy of local brewers and wineries.

The Jane Pickens Theater & Event Center (The JPT) sets summer into motion with showings of cult classic films to remind viewers that beach days and warmer weather are just around the corner.

“We’re celebrating our biggest Memorial Day week line-up ever with electric live concerts, world-class comedians, thirst-quenching beer tastings, and the best summer blockbuster of all-time—JAWS. JAWS has been thrilling audiences for half a century and there’s nothing like the party experience we create at the JPT,” said Alex Whitney, General Manager of The JPT. “Due to our long successful history showing Steven Spielberg’s classic, the JPT is one of a few select theaters permitted to show JAWS this summer, so come see it in pristine 4K on our big screen!”
