In a game that kept fans on the edge of their seats, Middletown High School’s boys basketball team pulled off a razor-thin 47-46 win against Tiverton High School on Thursday night.
The action-packed match, hosted at Tiverton High School, saw the lead bounce back and forth throughout. Neither team could break away, making for an intense, down-to-the-wire finish. Middletown managed to snatch the victory by just one point in the closing moments.
With this win, Middletown’s record in the 2024-2025 Division 2 Boys Basketball season improves to 3-5. Tiverton is still searching for their first win, now standing at 0-6.
