Claude Bourbon

Ready for a unique and talented take on a wide range of musical traditions? Claude Bourbon will be performing live at the Tiverton Public Library on Wednesday, November 8th, at 6:30pm. This program is free and open to the public and will be held at the library on 34 Roosevelt Avenue, in Tiverton, RI.

Claude Bourbon is known throughout Europe and America for amazing guitar performances that take blues, Spanish, and classical stylings into uncharted territories. Claude’s inimitable style incorporates all five digits on each hand dancing independently but in unison, plucking, picking, and strumming at such speed and precision that his fingers often seem to melt into a blur.

Claude has played countless venues, including Glastonbury Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, Colne Great British & Blues Festival, and Rock O’Z Arene in Avenches, Switzerland, among others. Thousands of people in the UK, Europe, and the US have enjoyed listening to this virtuoso, and many are compelled to return again and again to hear and watch his fingers lightly dance over the strings of his guitar and create a unique sound that is ’Claude.’

Claude Bourbon played in Tiverton a few years ago, at the Sandywoods Center for the Arts, and library patrons enjoyed his performance so much that they requested a concert at the Tiverton Public Library. We are delighted to be able to host this international talent and expose more visitors to the unique sound of this blues virtuoso.
