A home on Easton’s Point has sold for $6,245,000, the highest residential sale in Middletown since 2023, according to Gustave White Sotheby’s International Realty.

The property at 592 Tuckerman Ave. sits across from Purgatory Chasm and near Second Beach. Jessica Chase of Gustave White represented the seller; Libby Kirwin of Lila Delman Compass brought the buyer.

Renovated in 2022, the five-bedroom, 5.2-bath house has an open main living area, a kitchen with Thermador and Sub-Zero appliances, and a soapstone wood-burning fireplace. It includes roughly 2,000 square feet of decking, among it an 880-square-foot rooftop deck with ocean views and a second-floor deck with a hot tub, plus a secondary living area with kitchenette, a semi-finished lower level, a three-car garage, fire pit, outdoor shower and access from both Tuckerman and Ashurst avenues.

The brokerage said the sale, along with 333 Tuckerman Ave. in 2023 and a property on Indian Avenue in 2020, represents the three highest residential sales in Middletown over the past decade, according to Rhode Island Statewide MLS data.
