A historic waterfront estate on Taylor’s Lane N has sold for $5.625 million, with an adjoining 2.27-acre waterview lot selling for an additional $2.15 million, bringing the total transaction to $7.775 million — the highest combined sale in Little Compton this year, according to Residential Properties Ltd.

The circa 1929 home, offered for the first time ever, sits on 3.5 acres and features five bedrooms and 2.5 baths, with sweeping views across the river toward St. George’s School and south to the Sakonnet Lighthouse. A private path leads directly to the beach. The interior includes an expansive living room with fireplace and French doors opening to the lawn and field leading to the shore.

According to State-Wide MLS data, the home sale is the highest in Little Compton year to date, and the land sale is the highest there since October 2025.
