Newport OUT Hosting ‘Murica Drag Brunch at Stoneacre Brasserie on July 5th!

Newport OUT will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with its latest themed drag brunch, “‘Murica Drag Brunch,” at Stoneacre Brasserie on Saturday, July 5.

Inspired by the larger-than-life glamour of Dolly Parton, trailer park chic and unapologetic camp, the event combines drag entertainment, brunch and a patriotic parody for a post-Independence Day celebration.

The brunch will be hosted by Boston-based drag entertainer Gigi Glam and feature performances by Rhode Island’s own Kennedy Plaza, Lucy Diamonds and Shania Taint. Organizers said guests can expect a mix of comedy, music, audience interaction and over-the-top performances that celebrate Americana through a drag lens, with rhinestones, denim, big hair and bigger personalities.

Tickets are available in two seating options: a standard reservation for $60, which includes a two-course prix fixe brunch, the full drag show and access to $10 drink specials; and a “Splash Zone” reservation for $65, which adds priority seating. The event is expected to sell out, following a series of successful Newport OUT drag brunches throughout the year, organizers said.

Tickets are available through Resy. Newport OUT is Newport County’s LGBTQ+ events and travel platform, creating experiences for residents and visitors through themed events, drag brunches and community gatherings.
