A waterfront home at 10 Coulter St. in Jamestown known as “Bridge View” has sold for $6.5 million, marking the town’s highest sale of 2026 to date, according to data from the Rhode Island Statewide Multiple Listing Service cited by the two brokerages involved.
Bob Bailey of Lila Delman Compass represented the sellers, and Alexandra Thursby of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyers, the firms announced. Mott & Chace also noted that the sale is the highest in Jamestown since August 2025.
The 6,000-square-foot shingle-style residence was built in 2020 on 0.66 waterfront acres and features 180-degree views of Narragansett Bay, the Newport Bridge and the Mount Hope Bridge, according to the brokerages. The property includes six ensuite bedrooms, a chef’s kitchen, an elevator, a heated three-car garage, a whole-house generator, a separate guest carriage house, direct beach access and a private mooring.
“I truly enjoyed the opportunity to represent such a well-designed and well-built home offering views of Narragansett Bay from nearly every room of the house,” Bailey said. “The owners’ pride and meticulous attention to detail and quality created an exceptional home that was a delight to showcase.”
Thursby said demand for turnkey waterfront properties on Conanicut Island remains strong. “With coastal inventory exceptionally scarce, securing premium real estate requires immediate, decisive action,” she said. “Having early insight into this incoming listing allowed our buyers to tour the property the very day it hit the market.”
Lila Delman Compass said in its announcement that Compass ranked as the No. 1 brokerage in Rhode Island for total sales volume in 2025, closing more than $1.26 billion in sales. Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty was founded in 2013 by Judy Chace and Ray Mott and operates eight offices across Rhode Island and Westport, Massachusetts.
