Rogers, Tiverton, and Middletown athletes competed at the Sullivan Meet at Providence Career & Technical Academy on Tuesday, with the Vikings boys team finishing fifth overall with 44 points.

North Kingstown dominated the meet, winning both the boys and girls team titles with 186.5 and 207 points, respectively.

Several local athletes earned top finishes in individual events.

Rogers’ Jakari Medina placed second in the boys 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.34 seconds, while teammate Derek Lloyd Jr. took second in the long jump with a mark of 21 feet, 1 inch.

Tiverton’s Brady Joslyn finished second in the boys 600-meter run, crossing the line in 1:28.15.

In the high jump, Rogers’ Aidan Barry placed third on the boys side with a mark of 5-8, while freshman Claire Neary took third in the girls event at 4-8.

Middletown sophomore Antonios Panteleos, the lone competitor for the Islanders, placed fourth in the boys shot put and fifth in the weight throw.

In team scoring, Tiverton’s boys finished seventh with 33 points. On the girls side, Rogers placed eighth with 14 points while Tiverton tied for ninth with 8 points.
