Registration is open for the 11th annual Grenon’s Newport Night Run, Newport’s only after-dark road race, set for Saturday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m.

The 5K run and walk starts and ends at Rogers High School, winding through Ocean Avenue and Hazard Road. Proceeds benefit the Newport Public Education Foundation, which provides classroom grants, scholarships, and program funding for Newport public schools. All sponsorship dollars go directly to the Foundation.

“Producing the Grenon’s Newport Night Run is deeply personal for me,” said Matt Gray, President of Gray Matter Marketing and a Newport public schools graduate. “This race brings our community together in a powerful way.”

Dr. Kimberly Behan, NPEF President and Rogers High School alumna, emphasized the need for support: “NPEF has become a vital lifeline, stepping in where traditional funding falls short.”
