The Jamestown Chamber of Commerce has announced its lineup of holiday events for 2025, featuring a red ticket promotion, holiday stroll and visits with Santa.
Beginning Thursday, Nov. 28, participating retailers and restaurants will distribute a red ticket for every $50 spent in Jamestown Village. At restaurants, red tickets are awarded for gift card purchases only.
Red tickets will be pooled together for a drawing on Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Beech Restaurant, 13 Narragansett Ave. Winners must be present and will have the chance to choose from gift baskets and gift certificates provided by local businesses, plus a grand prize in Chamber Checks.
The annual Holiday Stroll will take place Saturday, Dec. 6. Businesses in the commercial district will be open with holiday promotions while local churches and schools host artisan craft fairs.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive by boat at 1 p.m. at East Ferry Wharf. After greeting the crowd, they will head to the Conanicut Gift Shop & Arcade for visits and photos. Children are encouraged to bring letters to Santa to drop in his mailbox at the gift shop. All letters submitted will be answered.
Local retailers will host Sip & Shop events from 5 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 4, 11 and 18, serving holiday cheer while customers browse.
Chamber Checks are available for purchase at Conanicut Gift Shop, Grapes & Gourmet, Fuller Gallery and Jamestown Wine & Spirits in various denominations. Customers receive 10% back on every $50 purchased in Chamber Checks, which are accepted at more than 20 local businesses.
