Tiverton Four Corners will transform into a festive winter wonderland Dec. 5 as the historic village hosts its annual Holiday Bright Night from 4 to 7 p.m.

The evening of holiday shopping will feature brightly lit streets lined with luminaries as visitors explore more than 30 galleries and shops offering special deals and holiday décor. Santa will greet families at the Cheese Wheel Village Market, and the Greater Tiverton Community Chorus will perform at 6 p.m.

The Four Corners Arts Center will open its annual reTree Community Exhibition, a festive outdoor showcase of sculptural trees created from recycled and repurposed materials. Popular voting for the competition runs through Dec. 19, with winners announced that day.

Humphrey’s Building Supply is sponsoring both reTree and Bright Night. Additional contributors include Tiverton Farmers Market, Tiverton Economic Development Commission, Discover Newport, Forza Cavallo Boutique, Farmcoast Experience, West Place Animal Sanctuary, Four Corners Merchants, and The Bay Magazine.

The 18th-century New England village features shops specializing in art, antiques, handmade jewelry, gourmet food, home furnishings, and garden accents. Tiverton Four Corners is within an hour’s drive of Boston, Providence, Newport, and southeastern Massachusetts towns.
