Get ready for some summer entertainment! Newport Recreation will kick off its 2025 free concert series tonight at Easton’s Beach. The series features Family Night Concerts on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. and Children’s Nights on Thursdays at 5:00 p.m.
Starting tonight (July 8) with Rockin’ Soul Horns, the series runs through August 12, offering a mix of music and entertainment for everyone. Newport Recreation shared the exciting news on Instagram on May 29, emphasizing that all shows are free and open to the public.
Family Night performances feature local favorites:
- Down City Band (July 15)
- Bar Fly (July 22, sponsored by Newport Prevention Coalition)
- Jesse Liam Band (July 29)
- Country Wild (August 5)
- That 80s Band (August 12)
For the little ones, Children’s Nights promise a variety of fun:
- Johnny the K, singer (July 10)
- Tommy James, magician (July 17)
- Keith Munslow, storyteller (July 24)
- Toe Jam Puppet Band’s variety show (July 31)
To make it easy for families to attend, parking is free after 4 p.m. on show nights. Please note that adverse weather conditions may result in cancellations. If you’re unsure, call 401-845-5810 for updates.
