Newport County is buzzing with activity this week as summer reaches its peak, offering residents and visitors an exceptional blend of world-class music, historic charm, and outdoor adventures.

From Monday, July 7 through Sunday, July 13, the region showcases its cultural richness with the ongoing Newport Classical Music Festival presenting intimate performances at iconic venues like The Breakers and The Elms, while the prestigious Hall of Fame Open tennis tournament serves up championship action at the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

Weekend highlights include the 39th Annual Newport Kite Festival painting the skies over Brenton Point, thrilling polo matches at Newport International Polo Grounds, and the enchanting sounds of The High Kings taking the stage at JPT Film & Event Center.

Whether you’re drawn to the elegant strains of classical music echoing through Gilded Age mansions, the crack of tennis balls on grass courts, or the simple joy of watching colorful kites dance in the ocean breeze, Newport County delivers an unforgettable week of summer experiences that capture the essence of this historic coastal paradise.
