Last week, 11 properties sold across Newport County, with Newport leading the way and seven of those closings happened right in the city, including two that topped $2 million. This kind of activity shows that even in a market where buyers are being more thoughtful, demand is still there. Especially when it comes to well-located, well-priced, and well-presented properties.

We’re also seeing more homes hit the market. As of this week, there are 243 active listings on the MLS across Jamestown, Newport, Middletown, Portsmouth, Tiverton, and Little Compton. That includes single-family homes, multi-family properties, and condos, ranging in price from $299,000 to $22,000,000. In short, there’s something for just about every type of buyer.
