The Newport Canine Couture Show (via Newport Restoration Foundation)

Dog lovers, get ready! The Newport Restoration Foundation (NRF) and the Potter League for Animals (PLFA) are bringing back the Newport Canine Couture Show to Rough Point estate on June 7.

This unique event draws inspiration from NRF founder Doris Duke’s flair for style and her love of animals. Dogs will strut their stuff on the grounds of Duke’s former home, creating a one-of-a-kind spectacle.

From 4 to 7 p.m., the public is invited to bring their four-legged friends for an evening that blends fashion, fun, and giving back. The event features a pet photo booth, treats, and a Pet-tique Marketplace showcasing local pet-focused businesses.

For those looking to splurge, VIP tickets include a special “couture cocktail and charcuterie box” and prime seating for the show. General admission offers full access to the event, with drinks available for purchase.

All proceeds from the event support both the Newport Restoration Foundation and The Potter League for Animals.

Local businesses interested in getting involved can explore sponsorship opportunities and vendor booth options.
