Discover Newport has unveiled the 2025 cruise ship schedule for Newport.

The schedule, shared in an industry newsletter, covers ships anchoring near Perrotti Park. Most visits are set for September through early November.

“This information is valuable for Newport businesses that typically see more customers on cruise ship days,” Discover Newport notes in the newsletter.

The organization’s website explains that bigger ships anchor in the harbor and ferry passengers to Perrotti Park. Smaller vessels dock at the South Alofsin Pier in Fort Adams State Park.

The 2025 season started April 25 with the Viking Neptune’s arrival. Highlights include the Queen Mary 2 stopping by on July 5 and Oct. 4, and several visits from the Norwegian Getaway and Enchanted Princess in September and October.

September is shaping up to be a busy month with 17 ships planned. October follows with 25 expected visits to Newport Harbor.

The Allura wraps up the season, scheduled to arrive on Nov. 7.

Discover Newport points out that the schedule may change and was last updated on May 2, 2025.
