The Newport Folk Festival is lining up an exciting roster for its 2025 event, featuring artists like Stephen Wilson Jr., Hurray For The Riff Raff, Kim Deal, and Mon Rovîa.

Set for July 25-27, the festival has already sold out but continues to reveal its performer list, with more names expected in the weeks ahead.

Friday’s schedule already includes Kim Deal, Alex G, and The Deslondes. Saturday brings Mon Rovîa, Jesse Welles, Julien Baker & Torres, and Waxahatchee to the stage. Sunday rounds out the weekend with Stephen Wilson Jr., Hurray For The Riff Raff, Michael Kiwanuka, BCUC, Mt. Joy, and Jeff Tweedy.

General admission tickets vanished within minutes on Feb. 5, even before any artists were announced.

The Newport Festivals Foundation is making a positive impact by awarding grants on behalf of the announced performers. They’ve already supported The People’s Music School in Chicago, which gives free music lessons to local kids.

The foundation has also backed Art As Mentorship, which helps develop young artists’ skills, and Playing for Change, which brings music education to underserved youth in developing countries.
