This weekend we’ve got a solid lineup of homes hosting public showings across Newport County. I’ve been hearing from a lot of buyers who are still waiting for prices or mortgage rates to drop, thinking that they’ll get a better deal if they hold off. Many people are still waiting for prices to come down, but unfortunately, that’s not likely to happen. In fact, the latest predictions, including Fannie Mae’s home price expectation survey, suggest that home prices will continue to rise over the next five years.
