Three of Rhode Island’s most dynamic local acts are joining forces for a live concert during Newport’s 37th Annual Winter Festival. Dan Burke and The Royal Treatment, Melo Green, and Princess June will take the stage at the historic Jane Pickens Theater on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
The New England Music Organization and North End Entertainment are organizing the event, which is part of the festival’s 10-day lineup.
Princess June will open the show with their folky vocal harmonies, followed by Melo Green’s R&B grooves. Dan Burke and The Royal Treatment will close out the night with their soulful funk vibes.
“This special event will begin with Princess June’s captivating blend of folky vocal harmonies,” organizers said in a statement. “The night will then move on to Melo Green’s vibrant R&B grooves before concluding with Dan Burke and The Royal Treatment’s soulful funk vibes.”

Doors open at 6 p.m., with the concert running from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Brief intermissions are scheduled between each band’s performance.
Tickets are priced at $25, with a 15% discount available for those with an official Newport Winter Festival bracelet. Bracelets can be purchased at local businesses or online at www.NewportWinterFestival.com.
Dan Burke and The Royal Treatment, a five-piece soul and R&B group, are known for their smooth, funk-infused sound and electrifying stage presence. The band recently released tracks “My Pleasure” and “Keep Em Cold.”

Melo Green, an R&B/Funk/Soul artist, has made appearances across the New England music scene with various groups including Kids On A Hill and The Frotations. His debut album “Laminar Flow” is currently available.
