A $1,000 nursing scholarship is up for grabs for Aquidneck Island residents looking to start a career in nursing. The Michele Gizzi Nursing Scholarship honors the memory of Michele Lynch Gizzi, a dedicated nurse, and aims to help future nurses with their education costs.
You might be eligible if you’re a high school senior or already in college and permanently live on Aquidneck Island. The scholarship is open to nursing students at any accredited school.
High school seniors can pick up an application from their guidance office. College students can also email Paula Morris at paulamorris1@msn.com to request one.
There’s plenty of time to get your application ready – the deadline is April 30, 2025.
