Rhode Island’s new Lil Rhody Laugh Riot comedy festival is adding more star power to its lineup. Matt Rife and Jonathan Van Ness are joining the event, which runs from March 27-30 in Providence.

These two comedians will perform alongside big names like Kevin Hart, Leslie Jones, and Aziz Ansari. Rife is set to take the stage at the Comedy Connection on March 29 and 30, while Van Ness will entertain at The VETS on March 29.

The festival isn’t stopping there. Des Bishop is also on board to perform at the Comedy Connection. Plus, there’s a special “Triple the Laughs” show at The VETS featuring Ashley Gavin, Melissa Villaseñor, and Sophie Buddle.

While the Veterans Memorial Auditorium serves as the main hub, the laughs will spread across Providence. You can catch shows at the Providence Performing Arts Center and RI Comedy Connection too.

But it’s not just about the jokes. The city is also launching the Providence Culinary Collective to showcase its food scene during the festival.

Ready to get your laugh on? Tickets are up for grabs now on the festival’s website. The VETS, Providence Performing Arts Center, and Professional Facilities Management are behind this comedy extravaganza.
