The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its 2025 Politics & Pancakes series, with Governor Dan McKee set to kick things off on February 13.
This quarterly event, backed by Bally’s Corporation and run alongside The Pell Center at Salve Regina University, will see McKee outline his budget and policy plans for the upcoming legislative session.
It’s a great opportunity for local business leaders to connect with key decision-makers in a more personal setting, sparking important discussions about pressing issues.
The series aims to bring government officials and leaders to the area, hosting talks and panel discussions on topics that matter to the local business community.
Each year, the Governor, General Assembly members, Congressional Delegation, and other notable figures are invited to speak about policies affecting Rhode Islanders.
The event is set to take place at the Pell Center, 518 Bellevue Avenue, Newport, with free parking on-site.
