RIPTA will operate all fixed-route services on a Sunday/Holiday schedule on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28, in observance of Thanksgiving Day, an official state holiday.
RIPTA offices will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Flex Services and the Flex Service reservation line will not be available on Thanksgiving Day. The RIde Program will operate on a holiday schedule on Thanksgiving Day. Standing order trips will not be provided on Thanksgiving Day. Customers who need a ride on Thanksgiving Day should call the RIde reservation line at 401-461-9760 before Nov. 28 to schedule a trip. The reservation line will not be staffed on Thanksgiving Day, but customers can leave a voicemail message to schedule a trip for the following day.
The Walmart Cranston Shopper, normally a Thursday-only route, will operate on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
