The Tiverton Public Library and Tiverton Senior Center will host a free screening of the award-winning documentary “Cycle of Memory” on Friday, Nov. 8 at 2:30 p.m. The screening will be held at the library, located at 34 Roosevelt Ave. in Tiverton.

The film follows the story of Mel Schwartz, who escapes the Great Depression on a life-changing bicycle adventure. When Schwartz develops Alzheimer’s, his grandchildren embark on a journey to recreate his bike trip and find his lost memories. Along the way, they confront their own complicated history and relationship.

The 72-minute film will be followed by a live Q&A with the filmmaker. Refreshments will be served.

The event is free and open to the public.

The Tiverton Senior Center aims to offer socialization, education, recreation, and health services to residents aged 50 and older. The Tiverton Library Services strives to be a resource for personal growth and community enrichment by providing programs, services, and collections to serve the diverse needs of the community.
