Newport, Rhode Island – The Sailing Museum & National Sailing Hall of Fame will host the 41st Schaefer International Marine Art Exhibition from October 11 to November 11, 2024. The exhibition features contemporary marine art from around the world, including works by renowned artists John Stobart, Christopher Blossom, and James Gurney.

The exhibition is a collaborative effort between The Sailing Museum and the Center for American Marine Art, whose mission is to preserve America’s maritime visual heritage. A portion of the proceeds from the exhibition will support this mission.

“We are thrilled to partner with Schaefer for the Schaefer International Marine Art Exhibition, as we both share an immense passion for the sea and its timeless beauty,” said Ashley Householder, Executive Director of The Sailing Museum. “This exhibition perfectly aligns with our mission, bringing together art and maritime heritage in a way that educates, engages and inspires our community.”

The exhibition offers art enthusiasts a chance to view and purchase marine art. Tickets, which include access to The Sailing Museum & National Sailing Hall of Fame, are available for purchase online at https://thesailingmuseum.org/events.
