The NCAA, Gillette Stadium, and Harvard University have announced that Gillette Stadium will host the 2028 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championships from May 27-29, 2028.

The event, taking place over Memorial Day Weekend, will determine champions in Division I, II, and III men’s lacrosse at the stadium, which is also home to the New England Patriots and Revolution.

This will be the seventh time Gillette Stadium has hosted the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championships. The venue first welcomed the event in 2008 and holds several attendance records, including the NCAA Division I Men’s Championship record of 48,970 spectators set that same year.

Stadium officials note that previous championships in Foxborough have drawn fans from 47 states and six countries.

Before the 2028 event, Gillette Stadium is gearing up to host the 2025 NCAA Men’s and Division I Women’s Lacrosse Championships from May 23-26, 2025. This marks the return of the championships to Foxborough since 2018.

Tickets for the 2025 championships will be available later this fall. Details about tickets, hospitality, reunion opportunities, and fan activities for the 2028 event will be announced in the future.

With a capacity of 64,628, Gillette Stadium is a versatile venue that hosts more than just football and soccer. It recently held the 2023 Army-Navy Game and is slated to host seven FIFA Men’s World Cup 2026 matches, including a quarterfinal.
