The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center (MLK Center) is inviting the public to its last outdoor concert of the season.

The concert, “Live From The Loading Dock Parkside” will take place on Wednesday, September 18 at 4:30 pm and will featuring the music of the Lois Vaughan Jazz Trio.

The MLK Center shared the following details;

“Join us for one more concert on Wednesday, Sept. 18 before the temperature drops!

Come to the Edward Street Pocket Park across the street from the Center at 4:30pm for an evening of great music and even greater community. We will be enjoying the smooth sounds of the Lois Vaughan Jazz Trio.

Pianist Lois Vaughan has been performing professionally in Southeastern New England for over 38 years. Her repertoire is broad – encompassing jazz, Latin & standards, blues, and classical music. She will be appearing in a trio setting with Donnie Aikins on string bass and Art Manchester on sax and flute.

Food will be provided free of charge. Bring your friends, family, and lawn chairs for a night you won’t forget!”
