The Tiverton Public Library will be hosting a free event on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, featuring a talk by Dr. Alan Post on the topic of “ Meditation and the Near Death Experience.”

The event is free and open to the public and will take place at 6:30 pm in the library located at 34 Roosevelt Avenue in Tiverton, RI.

“Many of us seek better understanding and fuller experiences in our lives, to have more satisfaction, enjoyment, and inner peace. You have heard that meditation can be helpful for our physical, mental, and emotional health, but what is its connection to our spiritual health? What is the mystical aspect of meditation, and how does it relate to those that have had a ‘Near-Death Experience’ (NDE)?,” says Tiverton Public Library in a release about the event.

The talk will provide an introduction into the world of meditation and NDEs and their “Universal Connection.” There will also be an opportunity for attendees to participate in an introductory meditation practice and Q&As.
