A highlight of the summer season in Aquidneck Island is just around the corner. The Newport Show returns to St. George’s School Ice Rink July 27th and 28th.
This event is not to be missed if you love fine art, antique furniture, and vintage jewelry. The Newport Show is also a fundraiser for the Newport Historical Society and Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County, which provides essential services to those in need. This year’s event promises to be extra special with the addition of a loan show on women’s handicrafts.
“For nearly two decades, The Newport Show at St. George’s has provided collectors, curators, and all who appreciate history with an opportunity to experience the past through exquisite antiques, art, and fine objects,” says Anne Hamilton, Chair of The Newport Show and secretary of the Newport Historical Society Board of Directors. “We invite all to join us in July for this wonderful event and to support two important community causes in the process.”
If you’re looking for that perfect place to spend some summer money and support a good cause, the Newport Show is the place to be this July. Tickets are on sale now. Don’t miss out on this unique event.
